Idgaf if they’re getting their snide on, in this day and age everyone has to sort themselves out first. If they prefer cash I’m happy to oblige.
I used to take part of my wage in cash each week at a previous job as it kept me in a lower tax bracket and meant I didn’t pay off my student loan. Also found it the best way to budget my ‘walking around’ money. If the cash is gone then it’s gone.
Much safer than just indiscriminately tapping the card then turning off your phone notifications so your banking app can’t judge you any more.
