    Aren't they basically the same thing as far as the card machine is concerned?
    As in, they're all classed as card payments and incur the same costs

    It isn't, effective across the EU since Saturday 13th January 2018.

  • Which I don't think is totally unfair for a small shop to do. But when using cash means saving some pennies, people will need the option.
