Am planning to watch the England game after the kids have gone to bed later, at around half seven. Does anyone know if iPlayer will have it available to view then (from the start, obviously), or do I have to dust off the ol’ PVR?
a friend recommends sites like this one. so if you miss you game on a saturday afternoon you can rewatch the full match at a later date. like watching live if you haven't seen the score earlier and you've closed off all media.

usually available 30 mins or so after a game finishes ( sometimes quicker ) so they can process the game images.
