  • Possibly. It's not the first time I've lost something recently.

  • Virginity?

  • Look what I found. They usually live in the drawer by the back door, but, for reasons unknown, I’d put them in the draw under the kettle, diametrically opposite.

  • Do you have two identical keys on the same key ring? Lose one lose both?

  • I had a spare, but it seems to have been lost in our house move 18 months ago.

    I'll probably find that tomorrow.

  • @andyp ^^^^^ don't start trying to make sense.

  • anyone racing at Herne Hill tonight . Went to support my mate . Tough course with the mud, but lots of fun .

  • Just wanted to say thank you for sharing this knowledge! Managed to track it down in an Asda superstore in the section where they keep the CD-Rs and USB keys.

Search terms for anyone else: canned air, air duster

  • could also use the tubeless airshot, gives a powerful blast

  • For those WM based

  • Which reminds me, the London and South East league calendar is out, but only on a Facebook posting at the moment. I’ll find out when the website will have it.

Ten rounds starting with a welcome return to Stanmer Park in Brighton on Sept 1st.

  • Western CX league have announced their provisional scheduling also:

  • Odd times for the seniors. 2.45pm start. It will be dark by the end of some races...

Someone has to go last I suppose

  • I saw that, didn't know we'd need lights for a few rounds...

  • I've just done the summer cross event at Baggeridge (my first cross event) and it was ace. Good bunch of people and interesting course, highly recommended. Managed to bag 2nd for my age group too which was a surprise on the Surly

  • @andyp what size tyre are you planning to run now you have the crux?

  • I have a lot of investments tied up in tyres, so have lots of 33s to use. That said, I should've run 38s for the summer series to cushion against the solid ruts on the outfield, but they are at the bike shop being put on a new gravel bike.

  • Yeah I was thinking I’d go 38, should still have loads of clearance with sticky mud and volume when harder.

  • I’ve got a pair of barely used (like really rarely used)terreno wets in 38 - no tan wall.
Would like to shift them on
    £50
    Or
Swap me for a pair of 33 wets in similarly fitted but almost unused condition.

(38s and canti crux from 2015 in the mud = snapped chains and ripped tensioners)

  • Not 100% I’m reading this correctly but I have a set of good condition 33s wet I could swap for the 38s.

  • My DMs are open

  • In case it’s useful decathalon has 38c terreno dry’s for £15

  • Wonder if any of you would be interested in this or know anyone who might be.
    Ridley cross bike
    Fork is Kinesis
Sora + strong light chain set with 46/34 rings.
    Also have spares.
Not really using it and will need space shortly
Fun to ride; it's fast and more fun than my Sonder Frontier.

Needs a new BB and you can see what else is required.

So, before I take it to the bike shop and spend more money, would anyone be interested.

  • And here's the bike.

  • No, here's the bike.
