I don't think so, it snapped right in the middle, well below the shoulder. I can't really see what's stopping it from coming the whole way out. Maybe I need to try a tiny bit more force.

There might be a plain section of shank between the shoulder and the thread, but more likely it's not coming out because it has a curve in it.
