Anna has, quite rightfully tbh, told me I’m allowed two wheelset only so would rather have 50s for road riding/posing and a normal training set.

LB WR50 rims. 240 Straight pull.
Could always go with AR slightly narrower.
Also drop to 350s for a little $ saving but touch more weight. I might be on the 50s if I race Friday 🤣

I’ve also got WR38 as a full set plus dyno and a pair of DTswiss ARC 45mm with 240s.

Other suggestions? Not sure there is anything beside cross races.

Yes, it’s not technical, it’s a slog with massive hiking sections and sketchy descents. No cross skills needed, just stamina and the ability to get up after a crash or five.

But the scenery and some sections of the descents are amazing.

I’ve also been speaking to Codders from HHV who is setting up the course. It seems like MAAP have done fuck all promotion this year.

And in terms of ability from an entry perspective?

Most riding is on road or gravel, the ups are hiked. If you can do mildly technical stuff you’ll be fine, slow but fine.
