Pretty much yeah.
The stays kinked in and there was a bridge and all that got in the way of anything over about a 2" tyre. You had to deflate the tyer to be able to squeeze it forward to get the wheel out of those forward facing dropouts.
With the yoke it fits a 2.4".
I think I also pulled the back end in a bit to shorten the chainstay length when I fitted it.
Huh! What was the point of that, tyre clearance? Funny that a beach cruiser didn't have enough of that for you...
