Oh wow, that would be ace! There really isn't much rush (other than my impatience, my other bike is fine).

try v3 of the etube software to update the battery and that normally fixes it.

Once you've sorted @plasticniki can you see if you have a second one (seems unlikely)?

Have a set of (used) R8020 shifters for sale here if that helps. Could split it up if necessary as pretty much each part has an issue with it (other than the RH shifter).
Edit: my bad, mixed up R8070 & R8020.

It's the 2 smallest cogs that Di2 restricts in the small ring, right? Girl's 11s bike is not shifting into the smallest 3 which seems odd as everything else seems to shift normally. It needed quite a large adjustment for the 650B wheels which makes me wonder if the wheels are off or the RD has had a bang and is a bit off.

and it takes fucking three FD shifts to get it to change from big ring to small ring. WTF is going on with this piece of shit? Even in full manual mode it was shifting the RD when using the FD buttons (but still not shifting the FD unless you give it 3 clicks) so something odd is going on.
Maybe some kind of legacy syncro-shift config? I certainly didn't set anything up on it.

Looks like I'm not the only one to see this...

I reckon it's either bent or the 650B wheels are heaps offset to the 700C wheels. The reason it was not shifting into top 3 gears was simply it was adjusted fully to the left to make it shift and cope with whatever fuckup is making it move to the right.

Unfortunately they're ST-6770 shifters so cable rather than hydros, sorry!

Ahh, nevermind, thanks for looking!
My LBS has kind of fixed it with a new hose, but it will only bleed up and not down and it does feel slightly spongy compared to the left lever. Still, I can stop so that's good.

Hello, looking to pick up my first electronic group!
Any Di2 knocking around? Looking for shifters, front and rear mechs for rim brake.
I'm a n00b so any and all guidance is welcome

Hello, I have an IS mount frame I've been running post mount shimano calipers on BR RS785 using IS adaptors with 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors. It's ultegra 6800 with non series r785 levers.
The frame is 10 years old and things have moved on a lot..!
I've bought an etap rival axs groupset(di2 won't work with my frame)which came with flat mount calipers I'l sell on, I did hope to put Hope RX4 on but Hope told me I would need to use their post mount to IS adaptor and that only works with 180mm and 160mm rotors which I dont want to do.
SRAM in this instance recommend using their Level post mount caliper with an adaptor, as the Hope reply was unexpected and I thought i could use my existing adaptor set up with their calipers I wondered if anyone knew if the SRAM would fit my shimano adapters(or SRAM specific ones) to run 160/140? The level are harder to find and I need to order from Spain(Bikeinn cheapest and one of few places thet stock)so want to be sure before I order.
Am keen to build it but as its my only bike want to get all parts in place before I start.
I also thought I could try older rival/force post mount calipers but am sure I read somewhere they aren't compatible with newer 12 speed axs.
Any help really appreciated, thanks.

There's a chap on here that does splendid di2 component repairs is there not?
Can anyone remember their name?

Search the thread for "repair"

Quite right, suitably admonished.
Thanks.

The tab on one of my etap batteries has finally snapped off after about 7 years use, so not bad. I had been expecting it to happen at some point.
Replacements seem to be about £45 online, but just thought I’d check in case anyone knows of somewhere cheaper?

• #6145
No.
NB I have the Amazon knock off ones which are about half the price; originally as a spare on longer rides but ended up using. Obviously never charging them unattended etc. but they've been fine.

Anyone know of any 8070 shifters around for a decent price or am I as well with Alix? I'm going to strip my rim brake bike down and use the drivetrain on a new frame.

I cut a small piece of stiff plastic and glued it in place of the tab with Gorilla Gel Super Glue then cut it down to size with a Stanley once dried. Actually used a bit from a Speedplay cleat shim. Has held fine for 6 months.

Good to know. I was thinking to do something similar and use that battery when the bike’s on the turbo where it won’t be knocked about much
-
• #6150
That Gorilla Gel super glue is really good
Might have one of these in the shop! Got a tub of donated Di2 bits and pretty sure there are some Ultegra hydro levers in there. Only downside is I'm off for two weeks so can't check until I'm back unfortunately
