    The Sun have leapt on the Starmer band wagon because they have nowhere else to go. The power dynamic is very much in Starmer's favour.

  • Then he should use that power to call out the sun for being the hateful, divisive, rag it is and say he doesn't want their support (of course he could also add something about being happy for their readers' support - whatever that is).

  • yeah, the balance of power is in Starmer's favour, and yet he still felt the need to pay fealty to the bullshit notion that the Sun is the authentic voice of the working people. craven behaviour.

    I'm not expecting him to be 'fuck the sun', as nice as it would be for him to show some solidarity with the actual working classes, but he could have just given an anodyne 'support is welcome from all quarters' response. he chose not to. because he's a cunt.
