Here is my 1st cargo bike, bought 2nd hand just last week. Moondog navy, it looks new from most directions.
Larry vs Harry vs Hamax V1
This is a conventional Hamax Caress, mounted backwards on the steering post. The caress reclines by 20 degrees and the photo shows it fully reclined.
Little one loves it, “talking” to me all the time. Works fine me for a short trip on safe roads. Her grabbing the brake cables is not ideal 😂
The next step (V2) aims to get it lower and correct the angle. Goal is to keep the suspension feature of the Hamax and the full range of motion.
Eventually (V?) I’m aiming to get it low down and forward facing. Perhaps I’ll switch to the rack mounted Hamax which has suspension too. I’d need to make a bracket of some sort.
Has anyone else succeeded in fitting a suspension Hamax in the cargo bay of their cargo?
