King Cav!!!!!
Can’t believe it.
Does he ride on? Surely he gets on it right now. Instant retirement.

Fuck. I didn’t know he wasn’t with us anymore. RIP Marcos.

Philipson didn’t have the power, never thought I’d see that.
Well done Cav, what an incredible achievement.
And what a fighter, through all the sickness, poor form, no contract, what a show of force to make this happen.

A wonderful day and genuinely one of the great moments in cycling history.

I don’t think Philipsen was lacking in power, just that Cav surfed the last 1km perfectly and timed his sprint perfect.
Philipsen might have been closer had he sprinted straight for the line rather than swinging left to get on Cav’s wheel.
Sprint was too short for him to go around even if he had extra power. -

What demographic do ITV4 think wants a ropey Roger Moore Bond film after Sir RCav's greatest moment?

Under your rules, he'd have been disqualified for deviation.

A shit post I can almost get behind.

The only rules are the UCI’s, which he didn’t break.
Read them and understand them.

Made up for Cav. Bit surprised no one has made a fuss about the shoulder barge he gave the Bahrain rider on the run in. All's fair in love, war, and sprinting, I suppose

I haven’t reviewed that yet.

Defo needed lanes.

I did see that, I think there were two shoulder contacts between Cav and two other riders. Considering the speed and lateral movement of the whole bunch sprinting, it would be really harsh to punish Cav on this occasion.
It would be interesting to see who crashed and how that crash was caused. And a close up of the ace bunny hop.

Slightly gutted I took a call on a shitty matter on a shitty day, muted audio & projector turned off but laptop display on and I walked back in to see Cav on the podium.
Watched the last 3km and it was still massively exciting. Particularly the bunny hop which made me miss the finish moment on first viewing.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Gaviria came up on Bauhaus' right and squeezed him towards Cavendish and there was only space for two where there were three, so something had to give. Cavendish leant on Bauhaus, who in turn leant on Gaviria and he (Bauhaus) had to ease off.
. Is that even visible my gif skills are shitz
