Regards the Digitakt. I've been using the 1010 Music BlackBox for a few years, and that's really simple to use. The Digitakt. I find the whole drive+, samples, selecting them then loading to a project very convuluted and frustrating. Compared with the BlackBox it's a right PITA. However the different machines and the modulation options to multiple destinations is really good.
I still can't figure out how to change the length of the sequence for one part (sample).... is that called a track? Dunno. Can only seem to change for all. Need to RTFM probably. I like the fact you can choose the range of the filters and also the FX. Plus the ability to have reverb on all the other FX! (bit mad but OK!)
I'm like 40% sold on it. The project/drive/sample and transfer workflow absolutely sucks balls IMO
Yeah Elektron has always been a RTFM situation (even though Thom Yorke claimed never to have read the Monomachine manual).
Without being able to check quickly, IIRC I think there is a pattern setting (i.e., it can be set for each pattern) that "unlocks" the per-track scale length.
