The conservative candidate is a delight. Failed business, high expense claims, unwavering support for Johnson throughout, voted against free school meals and Gaza ceasefire:

So 4 labour mps immediately defect making Lib dems the oppo. Then farage reverse takes over the tories. Then another 7 lab defect.
I'd watch that. -

Very similar profile to Sir Bill although, unlike him, has failed to parlay his expenses theft into a knighthood for “services to the public”.
Sir Bill also claimed a couple of grand last year for grifting from home, obviously £100k a year for a few days work from a financial institution in the Caymans (among other side hustles) barely scratches the surface (who knew that a cattle farmer had financial acumen that was so valuable).

Survation 340+ Labour majority prediction
In my lefty yoghurt weaving novella club I'm the outlier with a 200+ majority. Next highest was 140 or so.

Get Boris back that will make folk vote Tory. Some laugh

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s enough to stop the most impressionable and easily lead of Gams from voting deform.
-
• #2763
Gammons and the far right in general are mind-buggeringly stupid by definition. As long as they dither between the parties reflecting their bigotry and split their vote sanity will be the winner.

• #2764
I'm not going to celebrate if lots of Tory voters see the light. If they hadn't been so easily duped we wouldn't have had all the years of deceit. The penny has dropped far too late. The damage is done. Those who enabled it don't deserve a vote.
Hear fucking hear

Our Tory candidate, Andrew Griffith appears to have done well for himself. He attended a state comprehensive in Bromley and and good but not super university. He did the normal accountancy progress through one of the big companies. Having made cfo at Sky he’s been able to afford a £9.5million town hose in central London (he lends this house to Boris for his leadership campaign). HTF does that happen? Where did the money come from? Share options?

Final day of campaigning Liz Truss battle buss appearance has to be nailed on now surely?

Ask and you shall receive
Once again another example of the Tory’s not getting it. They think that rolling out this dickhead will save the day. So obtuse.

One of our senior people sold share options worth $4 million recently. They are probably on a salary in the $1 million range, if not higher. It's a successful company, but our revenue is about 3.5 times less than Sky's, so I imagine a senior person at Sky is on a better compensation scheme.

Did he make partner in accountancy? There's money to be made there with profit share etc..
More importantly, one more sleep!

More madness from Braverman:
"The critics will cite Boris [Johnson], Liz [Truss], Rwanda, and, I can immodestly predict, even me as all being fatal to our ‘centrist’ vote.
The reality is rather different: we are haemorrhaging votes largely to Reform. Why? Because we failed to cut immigration or tax or deal with the net zero and woke policies we have presided over for 14 years."
What is the conspiracy behind this misleading nonsense? What, other than power, is she trying to achieve by being so purposefully innacurate?

Braverman: "It's over. Blame me"
It is notable that Labour’s vote share has not markedly increased in
recent weeks, but our vote is evaporating from both Left and Right. The critics will cite Boris [Johnson], Liz [Truss], Rwanda, and, I can
immodestly predict, even me as all being fatal to our ‘centrist’ vote. The reality is rather different: we are haemorrhaging votes largely to
Reform. Why? Because we failed to cut immigration or tax or deal with
the net zero and woke policies we have presided over for 14 years. We may lose hundreds of excellent MPs because of our abject inability
to have foreseen this inevitability months ago: that our failure to
unite the Right would destroy us.” -
