So near, yet so far. I almost love it

I quite like it. Could have gone in various threads, even the one for functional bikes. But the fading pink collar of the skinsuit is a bit icky. Begone from my sight.

Isn't that the same bike that people keep posting in the Functional thread just without mudguards?
Is it anti because it has hydraulic brakes?

Probably because it has a 22t chainring and aero bars

IMO it’s anti because of the bizarre combination of components, but also because the end result is ugly as sin.
No idea if it’s been in the functional thread… aero bars and fat tyres doesn’t scream functional

This looks like one of those bikes for people who aren’t really into bikes, made by a company who aren’t really into bikes.

I was going to say something about the shiny parts being akin to rolling a turd in glitter but I have a Schwinn with Paul Comp dropouts and seatclamp so I decided I'd sit quietly in my glass house.

The LFGSS Taste Gestapo know where you live and have sent out a crap, sorry, crack unit.

I mean, I like to think it’s not anti but I am biased.

There's no point trying to hide it in a forest, you will shortly find out what the 'SS' part of 'LFGSS' really means.

The dropouts are cool. What's up with the ridge on the front of the chainstay?

It’s a Konga 3 piece yoke.

I did it all but by bit so these photos are from before I swapped the dropouts.

Huh! What was the point of that, tyre clearance? Funny that a beach cruiser didn't have enough of that for you...

Pretty much yeah.

The stays kinked in and there was a bridge and all that got in the way of anything over about a 2" tyre. You had to deflate the tyer to be able to squeeze it forward to get the wheel out of those forward facing dropouts.

With the yoke it fits a 2.4".

I think I also pulled the back end in a bit to shorten the chainstay length when I fitted it.

Can usually tolerate Dangerholm bikes but this one takes the biscuit...
