Having a social conscious about what will best impact others and using your platform to help benefit them is surely only a good thing, he's hardly Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The cunts don’t even live in the Uk
They do actually, their main home is in Windsor and they're bringing their kids up in the UK.
-

are that rich that no matter who is in that it doesn’t affect them
Also I don't think this is true when you're LGBTQ. However rich I get, having Kemi Badenoch as PM would be fucking petrifying (Equalities Minister was bad enough).

I recommend Elton John's autobiography, it pretty funny. Of course, being so rich he can afford to make jokes.

It’s fucked for sure but when the only viable alternative under FPTP, when they aren’t finishing off what they haven’t already destroyed, will not only not tax the 1% but will gleefully give them further tax breaks/incentives

I think when your as rich as these folk it really doesn’t, they can fuck off in a whim unlike regular folk.
-
• #2684
So voting Labour doesn’t affect them, or might even cost them more in taxes, but they’re supporting them anyway because they think it will be better for the country and people not as rich as them?
Clearly scum

No, you see, we are about to get rid of the Tories after 14 years so it's important to try as hard as we can to be begrudging and miserable about anything, no matter how small.

No-one on the Tory side attacking Keir Starmer for saying he spends Friday night having dinner with his family stopped to think about which groups very famously often have dinner with their family on a Friday.

He's basically said that he wants to spend time with his kids here and not tour because he doesn't know how long he's got left.
https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/elton-john-children-husband-tour-b1943755.htmlThey do have houses all over the world admittedly, but it's genuinely hard to think of celebs who do more for charity than Elton.
He's currently selling his personal wardrobe on eBay, almost literally the clothes off his back.

If you want to get vexed about Labour supporting celebs, the Sunday Times came out for Labour yesterday, and the Murdochs have never knowingly donated a cent to charity or philanthropic causes*. Except maybe James, but he's the rebel one.
*Being forced to give money to charities Milly Dowler supported and the £10k he gave to a Thatcher charity in 2013 don't count IMO.

TIL what a corflute is
It's a pretty handy engineering material. I just made some tubs for the deep freezer using it, some 10x30mm painted wood strip and a shitload of CA glue.

Starmer will be asleep while we're invaded. Sickening:
@grantshapps Virtually every military intervention we’ve carried out
has happened at night, partly to keep our servicemen & women safe. The British people will wonder who would be standing in for Starmer
between 6pm & 9am – Angela Rayner, David Lammy, Ed Miliband?Defending Britain's security isn't a daylight hours only job.

Does he include leaving vulnerable people in Kabul whilst extracting stray dogs in his "military action"?
-

They are attacking him for saying that he would "clock off work at 6pm
if he became Prime Minister".They also said "You deserve better than a part-time Prime Minister."
There are two big problems with this.
Problem number one: That's not what he said. The Tories are quoting
selectively out of context, like a film poster which reads
"spectacular effects" when the original review said "spectacular
failure, with lacklustre effects".It was only ever about Friday evenings, not every day.
Here's what Keir Starmer actually said:
-- transcript starts -- Keir Starmer: We have had a strategy in place and we will try and keep to it, and that it is to carve out really
protected time for the kids. And so on a Friday - I have been doing
this for years - I will not do a work-related thing after 6 o'clock -
pretty well come-what-may. Chris Evans: Regardless? Keir Starmer: Yeh.
Now there are a few exceptions but that's what we do. My son goes
kick-boxing and so I often take him there. My daughter goes swimming
and cheer-leading now, so I have been to see her in cheer-leading
competitions. Chris Evans: So you're going to ringfence that time?
Keir Starmer: Yeh. And I want to. One, because I am a dad and I love
them. They're my pride and joy and I don't want to lose that time.
Two, I don't believe in the theory that you are a better
decision-maker if you don't allow yourself the space to be a dad and
to have fun for your kids. Actually, it helps me. It takes me away
from the pressure. It relaxes me. I think actually, it's not only want
I want to do as a dad, it is better.
-- transcript ends -- SOURCE https://x.com/theousherwood/status/1807840068016497132Problem number two: There is also an essential and important faith
element to the story.Keir Starmer has been completely up front about carving out time on
Friday evenings to participate in his wife and family's Shabbat
dinners. This is something he has repeatedly talked about, for many
years, for example in this Jewish Chronicle story of July 2023.
https://thejc.com/news/our-family-treasures-our-shabbat-dinners-says-keir-starmer-hrnmdcu7So the Tory attack was not only in bad faith (forgive the pun) but it
could also be taken as a slight on Keir Starmer's family's choice of
religious practices. And yet it's not just the official Conservative Twitter account
putting the boot in. (Tweet linked below, with screenshot in case they
make it go away.) Individual Tory MPs are at it too. -

Just cannot wait to see the back of the entire T*ry C*untProject
Labour Party rolling out Elton John and his husband about why they are voting for them.
