  • Thinking about selling this lovely bike which I’ve recently built and love riding however have seen something I’d like and need to free up some £.
Argos frame and forks from 1988 with over £800 worth of updates including a repaint and stainless dropouts.
Chorus hubs on Ceramic rims, mainly chorus 11 speed group, as new. Super record RD. sim works stem and seat post. Nitto noodle bars. Pedals and bottle cages not included.
Looking for £1000 for the whole bike which may sound spendy but I think is a good buy.
There’s a thread in the current projects section of the forum.
    Here are some pictures.
    Thanks

  • What’s the size?

  • Good question 👍
    HT = 17cm
    TT cc = 55cm
    ST cc= 56.5cm
    ST ct= 58cm
700x 30 panaracers on at the moment

  • Bar, stem and shifter combo is very very good and 30mm tyre clearance to boot. What a beauty GLWS

  • handsome

  • Or… could do the frame / fork and headset for £420 incl uk postage
** the hole in the chainstay is meant to be there - it’s where the derailleur cable is fed through **

  • Dibs headset if split

  • Anyone ever bother (I dont) to use gear cable sheaths for these types of bottom bracket shells with cast metal guides?

  • Some people do, makes them a bit smoother and less likely to catch on anything.
