Matt Black made a very nice medium article a few years ago. I stopped using medium since the subscription so not sure if it’s that popular with photographers.

I really miss using Flickr on desktop as a main source of looking at photos. Things have become so dumbed-down (that’s probably not a great turn of phrase) now.
It does seem to be going through a bit of a resurgence but phones aren’t going anywhere.
I wonder how Flickr could get more thoughtful engagement? You could also use something like Medium as a blog platform that links to it but means putting the time in for all that stuff.
Have also been thinking about this a lot lately…
