Thanks. I'm going to experiment with what I have and see if I prefer TT levers over interrupters. The last time I rode
fixedsingle-speed, I much preferred the position of the TT levers -

Small changes - very nice tyres from @jono84 on this before I sort out my road bike and pedals that don't make a clicking noise. Fiddled gearing (now 50x16) to be nice for commuting but also not spinning like crazy at Regents Park. Feels pretty perfect and am managing ~250km a week which is pretty good for now ;)
Needs a new BB because sram is shit and going to fit an ugly little bottle cage adapter later because I don't want to pay for king cage quite yet

Sorry I’ve got the straps, I meant the pedals to strap them to!

Whoops, totally misread! Sorry!

Thanks for the reply anyway!
I know flat/bmx pedals are the move, just a lot out there. Any one got a favourite? Or selling?

Lovely. Much nicer than my slightly younger Geoffrey Butler.
Full marks if you line up the TA crank with the chainring.

Needs a new BB
Ah you should of grabbed the jazzy red Hope i just sold. I still have the Hope GXP adapters somewhere if you end up needing them.
Bike looks great, could you carefully drill the frame for bottle cage bosses?
-
• #2696
Thanks! Drilling is definitely the plan in the future - need to either get it to a frame builder or hold my breath and do it myself...
There's still this ffing clicking noise and I really can't tell if it's the BB or the pedals - It's got a Hope BB with adapters on at the moment which got the bike silent for a little while. Slightly maddening

I’ve raided the parts bin and have gone with Cane Creek levers (I know I know) and Reynolds Pro Round drops.
The 21mm tubulars may be a bit off brief though, anyway I’m off for a little spin to see what it’s like.
Definitely needs HU, but that’ll have to wait until later.

I bet this make great whooshy noises with every standing pedal stroke.
That's from the side🙂
