The ones I used were a suuper tight clearance on the axle. I had to tap them on with a rubber mallet until I had enough thread that I could use the NDS crank to fully pull it together.
My guess is that its by design because the adaptor should never turn on the axle as it would wear it out.
Trying to fit some gxp cranks into a bb30 frame. I have some of the Wheels MFG delrin adapters. They adapters fit perfectly into the frame bearings, but the end of the axle won’t fit through the left adapter enough as the 22mm diameter shoulder inside the adapter won’t let the main part of the axle through far enough (in a gxp threaded bb the nds 22 mm bearing still lets the axle through far enough)
Can’t work out what’s going on here , it just forces the adapter out of the bearing and there’s not enough of the splines showing to attached the nds crank arm. What am I doing wrong ? Note - these adapters were in my parts bin and must have come with an old bike, I’ve never used them before but pretty sure they are correct, they state bb30 to sram on each side
It’s this adapter https://wheelsmfg.com/bb30-adapter-for-sram-cranks.html
With a Sram Force 1 crankset and a CAADX bb30 frame
