Normally take landscape photos, ventured into some product photography recently. Good fun if quite time consuming, but it’s nice to be control of almost everything rather than take what’s given by nature. Also nice to be warm and dry… 😂

Nice. It’s quite fun once you start going down the lighting rabbit hole.

Went for a quick ride this evening knowing that the days won’t be this long for a while.

Thanks, and agree. Makes for some interesting colour combos and amazing what you can do with a couple of Philips hue bulbs now.
I never really thought of doing it before, have done lighting for concerts and the like, but don’t know why I’d never thought to bring this to bear with my photography!

It is in fact Tilbury! Really enjoyed wandering around it, strangely peaceful. There's another fort further along the Thames which is next on the list.

The other one (Coalhouse Fort) has more concrete stuff that might be up your street. Also, the old Bata shoe factory down the road is incredible.

Also where they filmed the Chinese prison scene in the start of the dark Knight series (batman begins). I once had a taxi driver who was telling me about his brother being an extra in it.

I’ve been playing around with a beta test of an app that takes in environmental data like altitude, ambient noise and magnetic field data as inputs into the image. Quite interesting results, looking forward to seeing how the app develops

These look really filmic, I like it. Is that the intention, or it just something new?

Yes the idea is to give an analogue effect, but in a less kitsch/filter way I guess

Lovely! Second one looks like Wells next the sea?

Yes indeed. Good spot. Was a good week for flat seas and empty sky

I use PhotoLab for lens corrections, adjusting white balance, exporting raws, etc
and Film Pack for fun mood stuff, i.e. it's like the Fuji Film Picker except you can do it for every RAW image
