I'll suggest Subdial I was talking to them last week about a px for myself and they offered a good price for one but weren't interested in my other so I probably need another month or so then the watch I was after sold the next day anyway. They were really easy to deal with though so I expect I'll use them again. I know C24 prices are often toppy but he'd take 10% less than the current lowest price listed so could try his luck there
On the Daytona chat, he might as well get quotes from Subdial and other dealers - nothing to lose. Chrono 24 prices are always too high as sellers factor their 6.5% fee in (as well as pitching at optimistic levels anyway as there’s no cost to listing and you can’t rule out a motivated buyer coming along). V rough rule of thumb is to knock 10% off the lowest price listing you can find for an equivalent watch. All that said, you don’t have to sell if someone makes an offer, so your friend could list it on C24 at the price he wants and just wait and see if he gets bites.
