Mason x Hunt 650b wheelset / Surly Troll fork

Posted on
  • Mason x Hunt 650b wheelset. Bought to be my 'nice summer wheels' but actually turned out to be my 'my bb is now too low and I get loads of pedal strike wheels'. Bought new, did about 300-ish dry miles before switching back to the 700s.

Wheels are true, bearings are smooth, freehub has a few notches consistent with use. There are a couple of marks to the rear rim from stones, I have tried to picture these but am a shit photographer.

SOLD£200SOLD including the WTB ByWays. Can take those off and do for SOLD£175SOLD otherwise. Collection in Sheffield, or P&P on top.

  • Hi
Very interested, could a Shimano SLX 11-42 11 speed cassette go on these? What's your estimate for delivery. Thanks for your time. Jim

  • Yeah, it’s a shimano freehub, would take an SLX cassette just fine. I expect p&p would be about £15, probs would go in the post Weds for delivery on Friday.

  • Should have said that these are currently set up:
    Front: 12x100mm Thru-Axle
    Rear: 12x142mm Thru-Axle

But they’re Hunt so the end caps are easily replaced to suit your requirements

  • Adding a Troll fork here. Classic Surly 26” fork with all the bolts. Done fuck all miles on these, but they are just languishing on my pub bike and are probably worth more than the rest of the bike put together so seems a bit daft and like they could be put to much better use.

In pretty good shape, but of light scratchy / rub around the shoulders.

SOLD£80SOLD collected in Sheffield. Extra for P&P if you’re unlucky enough to live elsewhere.

  • Oops forgot to add the picture of the steerer & measure - about 22.5cm of shaft for your pleasure

  • Wheels sold. Fork still going.

  • Would be interested in these forks! Do you know if they are the suspension corrected model? Also any idea of postage price?

  • P sure these are the suspension corrected ones - axle to crown is roughly 450mm. Non corrected ones are 420mm.

    Postage / packaging probs £10.

  • Hey, are the forks still available?

  • They are, yeah. Hop into my DMs if you're interested.
