I'm growing a crystal with my kid.
This one is a solution with a granate stone in the bottom.
As the water has evaporated there is a layer around the edge. Should I just leave it? Or should I scrape it off into the solution to help build more crystals?
Presumably the solution is already (super) saturated so adding more from the side will make no difference?
It seems to be growing around the edge, including the outside edge. Idk why it's doing that.
