Oooh nice! I've actually still not been to the cinema museum which is pretty inexcusable after living in South East London for 4 years.

I do this to support the Museum and for S and G. Buying tickets in advance helps.

No pressure, but a mitzvah pays unexpected dividends. -

I’ve always thought of Scorpio Rising as "that album from Death In Vegas", turns out it’s named after this short. TIL! I know what I’m listening today.

They tried to ban it, the American Nazi party sued Kenneth Anger for bringing them into disrepute and a church took him to court over some of the footage. Imagine if he'd made a feature.

Did you watch the doc?
I used to go when it was in Tottenham St, I saw the doc with two mates one who'd gone early doors to Kings Cross and the other later till the end. Between the three of us we had the whole run covered. -

I watched it again recently, first time since back in the 80s, and really didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped.

Yup saw the Doc. Great overview.
I still have some of the Scala programmes from the period I went (twice a week at least).
That was from 1991 until its Clockwork Orange'd demise -

Just watched Senna.. regret not seeing this on the big screen. And despite all that animosity at press interviews, in races and within McLaren. Prost being a Co founder and Trustee for Senna’s foundation and a key contributor of this documentary film, is actually quite profound.
It doesn’t seem so long ago and yet so much has changed in F1 around safety after his fatal crash, mental stress and state of mind with trackside injuries sustained by Rubens Barrichello and death of Roland Ratzenberger

Definitely up for that. I see a lot of shout outs in the Youtube comments to "Shadow of the vampire", the first time Willem Dafoe was a Nosferatu film; well worth a watch if any horror fans on here haven't seen it.

Was really digging the trailer, though no clue what it's about. I'll find out soon.

It was certainly some type of thing! Need to ruminate on it for a while
