The press editors are in chaos - there's as much disunity as in the Tory party itself. Chris Evans at the Telegraph seems to be leaning full Reform - or at least wants the current leadership of the Tories out? But Ted Verity at the Mail seems to have had second thoughts about that - he's been attacking Farage recently, I think? Victoria Newton at the Sun will come out for Labour in a minute (as rumoured for a while now). And it doesn't appear that Tony Gallagher knows what to do with the Times.
It's almost as if the Tory leaning press want them to lose. The betting scandal was beginning to die down a bit, so the Telegraph decides to lead today with a headline claiming the Metropolitan Police had leaked names to the press, thus keeping it at the top of the news cycle for another day.
