Controversial opinion: am I alone in thjinking it was never a pen and the Scotland striker should have tried to actually play the ball instead of dangling his leg backwards to try and buy a pen?
The first thing I thought when I saw the replay is "why is his leg over there nowhere near the ball or his natural path of running".
It's the kind of thing you see being done to "win" a penalty and it's often given but he was definitely trying for the penalty rather than carrying on running.
