That's a really lovely bike! A customer of mine has an S&S coupler Planet-X Steel cross bike. Always liked Independent Fabrications!

Thanks, its a lovely bike to ride, very light, for a steel frame and very supple.

If you haven't already, drill a hole in the b/b as the sealed tubes really aren't designed with damp conditions - who wants a seat tube rotting from the inside? I didn't but it's what I got!!

It’s very unlikely to be going out in any damp weather and it’s stored with the seat post out, so I’m hoping it’s not going to be a issue.

I’ve had to zoom and crop so I hope this pic isn’t too bad.

Aren't you exceeding minimal insertion length? Seems that the frame is too small for you...
I'll post my Planet X tomorrow -

It more a poorly setup seat post hight for the photo. It’s stored with the seat post out, so there is a degree of faffing to get it to the right hight each time I ride it.

That’s lovely, king of the travel bikes.
As a breakaway owner I really appreciate that
I can’t see an IF appreciation thread, seams like a bit of an over sight to me at least. So here’s my Crown Jewels, it was purchased on here and has been put together using parts I had hanging round (wheels, chainset) I picked up the fork on eBay which the frame was designed around.
It’s nearly complete, but I think I’ll be getting a matching rim for the rear. Perhaps some sliver sugino 75 cranks.
This isn’t my first IF I have a ss mountain bike frame and forks at my parents place, but that hasn’t been ridden in 10 years, need to sort that out.
Edit - yeah none drive side shot fail
