No that’s good advice. It doesn’t feel like it needs much and I’m approaching it differently to my other bikes, which have been built up from scratch to my tastes.
Definitely want the rack fitted, that’ll make it much more portable.
The grips I think though. I like the look of the GP2s. I was tempted by a Brooks C17 as it’s my go to, but the Brompton one seems like it’ll do the job nicely. Not sure about the suspicion block yet. I’m definitely a heavier rider, so might look at that.

A fun loop (although I think the Blenheim one was best). Could have done with more signs about where registration was and stuff.
Not having ridden my Brompton for a good few years meant my unfolding was less than swift.

Any news on results?
I went off with a barely nipped up main hinge in my heat, took a lot more care in the final and was 42nd off the line…

I was meant to test ride the course on Friday but ended to stay at home with the family and newborn.
I was rider 293 on the 2speed Chpt3 with pink socks.

Yeah the guy who one was called Connor (he is a Cat 1 rider so explains why he was raid).
Only got to do 9 laps out of the 10 due to being lapped.
This was my first BWC, and of all the racing I’ve done this was by far the best atmosphere I’ve experienced and not to forget for a while.
Also kudos to @Chopsicle for fixing my clothing, sorry for bring 3 items I didn’t know it was 1 item per person.

Kuosac headset woes - there is not enough height on the lower nut to fit my headset spanner and then tighten the locknut over it - the lower spanner grinds on the locknut - do super thin ones exist for this ?

Has anyone got any experience of the Brompton Fairweather Bag?
I finally managed to see one in the flesh and the shoulder strap attachements seem tiny. I use my current rolltop as a satchel a lot and I'm not convinced they'll hold up to much abuse.

I’ve got a few Brompton bits for sale in the classifieds - s-type stem, m-type stem, six speed wheel and m-type handlebars. https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/397105/#comment17431542

Congrats! A word of hypocritical advice from me - don't be a sucker for upgrades. With the niche-ness of Bromptons it gets pretty expensive pretty quickly.
That said, I did change the grips (to Ergon GP1s, now some MTB ones off my hardtail) and Saddle (Brooks B17, now a Charge Spoon) first. Many also opt to change the suspension block for a firmer one, especially heavier riders and those who like a more road bike-like stiffness.
