I'd been meaning to try that for some time but picked the 'camembert', which I thought was a total failure. I hope the other varieties are better.

Their blue cheeses are very good. Even my dairy eating father-in-law was very complimentary.

Seconded, the fauxmagerie blues are brilliant, proper cheese board stuff rather than just being good as an ingredient

Cocoa Runners. Plenty of non-milk milk chocolate options. Not cheap but the chocolate is very good.

Worcestershire sauce - who makes a decent one? I was going to get some Hendersons Relish but they use saccharin in their recipe.

Its talked about on the page before as well as cheese. So far i am finding it hard to find it in any supermarkets . The hendersons is there but i dont know what it tastes like .

I don't know what you do to your belts, but I can recommend the ones from Third Estate--I have one that's at least ten years old and it's still fine.

Also, it's always good to have high-profile vegans, and I don't just say that because this one is 6'9"--Alexander Schweitzer, the designated new prime minister (the German word translates as 'minister-president', i.e. chair of ministers) of the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz is vegan.

I bought some meter long lengths of webbing in various colours, (got my mum to) sew them back to back and use a plastic buckle thing for 6 belts in 3 to accessories for all occasions, today is a rainbow belt for Salford pride.

I've not heard of Third Estate before, they look quite nice!
Another option to look at is Vegetarian Shoes. I've had one of their belts for a years now and it's still going strong, no signs of wearing out or breaking.

I just nailed some vegan yoghurt on the second attempt. I was a bit concerned with the amount of plastic tubs I was chucking in the recycling from soy yoghurt I was using.

I used 1.5 litres of organic soy milk which is literally just soy beans and water and 150g of cashews. Boiled the soy milk, poured about 300g of the boiled soy milk over the cashews, left them to soak and then blitzed smooth. Mixed it all together with 100g of soy yoghurt from the shop and left in the oven on the lowest temperature for about 10 hours then turned it off and left it overnight in there.

The picture doesn’t quite do it justice how thick and creamy it is and it’s very tangy. Worth a go if you miss yoghurt!

Went to VS in Brighton* for the first time recently and bought a pair of trainers - really impressed with them.

*deliberately initialising cos I know that sentence would go straight to the gc thread otherwise...

I had some boots from there that lasted for years. Good stuff!
