Ermmm it does if you let it sit on a bare frame for long enough....I just kept an eye on it and sprayed it off every now and then so it didnt have time to react etc.

Love a bear valley ! I’ve removed two stuck seat posts, one with rounds of heat gun on the seat tube and penetrating spray and then whole bike upside down with seat post in a vice and twist the frame back and forth carefully . And then a really stuck one same process of heating and then smacking the seatpost down into the frame with a lump hammer with the the underside of the bb supported on something solid and then wiggling it free with a pipe wrench. Good luck

Long overdue, with many things getting in the way, but we got there. Quick pics below. Unstuck seat post, rear disc conversion, Edsen segmented forks and riser bars, nos mavic cross ride disc wheelset, cheapo Shimano hydraulics, rest swapped from bear valley. Got a funky leopard print seat laying around somewhere. Need a bmx stem and make up my mind about seat post - stem/spacers - Black or silver? (With option for blue bmx stem hmmm to match the headset) Also black tyres or billy bonkers tan?
