Finally got to watch The Martian with Matt Damon. it was okay, but then I thought, what was all the fuss about, it had that tacky global media commentary running throughout, endless ethical questioning, soundtrack choices were meh, okay perhaps it was based of Mission Leaders playlist.
for a Robinson Crusoe meets 2001 space vibe.. 4/10
Scenery and space vehicles were epic though, which Ridley Scott is not stranger to.
It has made me think about watching Gravity and Interstellar again though, for comparison
