Very sad news. He was definitely winding down his career when he came to us but he still made an impressive impact. RIP SuperKev.

You were the first PL team to be bottom at Christmas to survive the drop IIRC. The January arrival of Kevin Campbell was huge part of that.

He was captain on the last day of the season when we survived by the skin of our teeth. Like I said - impressive impact.

I wasn’t able to get to the hawthorns back then but the stories of those days are told weekly in the pub.

It's a great thing. Pre-game gather in town after pubs behind a designated bus packed with speakers and then all fans go together in a slow parade to the stadium.

I was in Coevorden for the Brazil World Cup.

The town square after a Dutch win was electric. Free beer, big party bus, one hour of tomfoolery then everyone cleaned up and went home.

Still makes me smile.
