Rest in peace Kev. Gone way too soon.

Sad news, RIP.

More sad news. So young. 😔
-
• #169506
Such sad news. I saw him play many times and he never gave anything less than one hundred per cent.

Very sad news. He was definitely winding down his career when he came to us but he still made an impressive impact. RIP SuperKev.

You were the first PL team to be bottom at Christmas to survive the drop IIRC. The January arrival of Kevin Campbell was huge part of that.

He was captain on the last day of the season when we survived by the skin of our teeth. Like I said - impressive impact.
I wasn’t able to get to the hawthorns back then but the stories of those days are told weekly in the pub.

Two citizenships. Both started this tournament utterly dogshit.
Why Martin Adam isn’t playing is a mystery.

Amazing turnout from the Albanian fans in dortmund.

Great Euros so far, Spain, Italy and Germany all looking dangerous.
-
• #169517
Agreed - Spain the most impressive for me.
-
• #169518
Isn’t that peak Spain though. Shine in the first match, raise expectations and fizzle out in the knockout stages.
-
• #169519
Fair point, whereas Italy do it the other way round - always good to have a big tournament.

Until the home nations ruin it for you.

Dutch are going crazy:
-
• #169522
Snollebollekes, what a banger.
-
• #169523
Wow, they'll be exhausted by kick off.
-
• #169524
It's a great thing. Pre-game gather in town after pubs behind a designated bus packed with speakers and then all fans go together in a slow parade to the stadium.

I was in Coevorden for the Brazil World Cup.
The town square after a Dutch win was electric. Free beer, big party bus, one hour of tomfoolery then everyone cleaned up and went home.
Still makes me smile.
Heskey walked so that Miller and Havertz could run.
