When I was there it was like the fucking law or something. Both girls I went out with gunned me for my Tevas. Unless you wore a suit you wore flip-flops, either Havaiana or this other Brasilian brand with flags. Nationalism is definitely strong there, they love flag. Even Belfast can't touch them on the flags.
I didn't think Brazilians did, just people on their gap years?
