How did you get on with this setup? Just bastardising my Arkose at the moment and I forgot I needed to address the rear derailleur issue. Tried to just fit the 11-42t cassette without upgrading the derailleur and realised what an idiot I am.

The chart says the Ultegra RX can't handle 11-42 on a double off the shelf, did you do anything else?

yep, seems to work well.
the only issue I have is that the chain is probably a link too short to go into the 50/42 so I just have to be mindful of cross chaining.
I think the shifting is better without using the clutch as well.

Thanks! I'm on 48/32 on the front so that 2t drop might give me a little more wiggle room
