I wonder how many people are getting truly conned here. I guess a fair amount are getting conned without even realising and appreciating how shit the knock off pressings inevitably are.
It begs the question that if there is the capacity to produce runs of fakes, then there is capacity to run more legit pressings. Maybe the bootleggers pay the plants more than the labels do.
