Leica M Typ240

Selling my Leica as I've bought a 35mm rangefinder.

It's an M Typ 240 in moderately brassed condition. There is also light wear to some of the edges of the leather covering.

I bought it in this brassed condition, don't think it's gotten much worse in my couple of years ownership.

It's had a screen protector fitted (possibly since before my ownership as I can't really remember buying it separately) which has kept the screen in minty condition. I've just removed it as it was looking a little tired and I wanted to check there were no issues underneath it.

I've had it wrapped up in a Benro wrap whenever it's been in a bag so it's been well protected from dust and dirt and the like.

I'm including a battery (genuine Leica, holds great charge), charger, body cap and hotshoe cap and I will also include the Peak Design strap I used with it as it has red accents and would go best with a Leica.

If I sell this on ebay I think it would get between £2000 and £2200, ebay's fees would leave me between about £1750 and £1900 so rather that pay that to ebay I offer it here for £1750 to include paypal fees and special delivery postage. I'm in Glasgow so of course, if you are local you are free to come and inspect etc.
