    I 'm defintely enjoying my Honzo ESD more now I have gears on it. I should ride my Schwinn more though...

    Not at all. I think the lighter weight and tighter geometry of older bikes suits climbing far better and modern bikes are more about slowly winching your way to the top, to then make the most out of the downhill part

  • 100% agree. I ruined my Honzo running it SS. @BareNecessities said it perfectly. I'd even go as far as saying SS is best fully rigid!

  • Yeah, I got worried it was old age that was seeing me push up a lot more of the hills but I think it's really just that I'd been riding the bloody Honzo.

    I do fancy something with narrower tyres and fully rigid but like I say, I have a Schwinn klunker that already doesn't get used nearly enough.
