I think I'll use the stock wheels as road wheels and then buy/build a set of gravel wheels. I really like the Zipps but not the price so it might be a LB jobbie (at least they should play nice with tubeless).

It's gone... and I've done nothing...
Magic? Something when it's wet?
I'm just gonna ride it...

Shame the rider is pie eating world champs material.

Bought some cranks a couple of months ago. Discovered this when went to fit them a few weeks back...
Hopefully @Howard will have a rummage in the parts bin this weekend and have me back on track. Otherwise I've got to get some from Stateside. In other news the SL7 just sold. It'll be heading up to Scotland next week for its new life.
I'm living the Crux dream right now.Tallboy will likely be on the way out over the summer. Going to replace with an XCish hardtail. Probably a Yeti Arc. Maybe something Ti. I'm moving house and have an endless amount of trails and reasonable gnar above gravel bike duties which can be attacked at a lunch time power hour. I'm most excited about having a garage to store my bikes in... the track bike is going to be absolutely useless mind. Might be a build and sell. Lolz.

Sad to see this, but you know what's best. How about an SC Blur, still too much?

That would involve cash, which is counter productive for my house renovation goals and my marriage.
It's probably true to say that an hardtail xc bike is too similar to my gravel bike, which runs max permitted width tyres.
With all the above said, something Blurish will be the likely outcome. YOLO and all that stuff.

@Howard delivered - thanks again!
Things are progressing again. I've got a XTR lever on the way which should hopefully play nice with a Hope RX4.
Wheels are next - a few decisions to be made on the front hub. I'm thinking black. There will be a disc there for silverness and anything else I think may be overkill. I'm really struggling with this as I've always built bikes black sans colour!
Once I've decided I can commission the rear build with Arkane who have been sat on my hub for 5 months now...And gearing / track stuff. Anybody know any good forums for fixed gear bikes and advice? 😏

Has the Tarmac shifted? -

Get those cranks polished ffs

Yeah went a couple of weeks back. I would say I miss it, but I haven't ridden it in 18 months+ 😳
Held its value well, the Crux cost me less than a grand after I'd 'paid myself back'. -

Look, you. I've had enough sleepless nights over the finish of the cranks, stem and seat post matching. I'm done with colours. Ain't not magpie me.

I best keep my thoughts on that seat post to myself then… lovely saddle though!
Love the build, hope it’s getting 80mm rims. -

sadly, I don't think Zipp logos succumb to acetone treatment

It’s the logos?? I’m more offended by the massive head on the thing!

fancy build ! I like the trashy american vibe, logos everywhere please
Good point. My MTBs look like they have tan walls when they don't and you can't see the rims for dry mud half the time :)
