• Albion size chart has me at the lower end of Medium in the cargo bibs... Am Small in every other brand (Assos Mille, Endura Pro Sl, dhb Aeron..).

What are others experience across brands? Listen to the chart or the niggle that says Small is the way..

  • In my experience, Albion sizes are pretty small.

  • Apart from the zoa winter stuff thats will take a few layers.

  • I find Albion bibs quite stretchy and generally in line with other brands’ sizing.

  • You might want to size down. I have the normal Albion bibs in large and rhe leg elastics are pretty loose. Mentioned in a review but I was right in the zone for sizing. Not had the same issue with other bibs.

The material is super stretchy so I would have been better off with medium. Lovely bibs otherwise!

Not sure if the cargo bibs have the same thing but worth checking.

  • @Chopsicle Is the merino riding tshirt going to be stocked in any more colours besides the (nice) pine green?

There's a new deep slatey-grey-green? Personally really like this :)

And @spinnnout sizing - again, maybe this is subjective - but I find consistent with Rapha (Core/Classic/Brevet/PT). I'm a large in both both brand bibs - and if you're not sure, there is a peace of mind with a satisfaction guarantee. And yes, Pocket and regular are same size/block. Let me know if you would like any more info - could send measures if that would help compare against a bib you already have.

edit; I would add they are relatively long in the leg, compared to a Rapha regular length.

  • That's the one I was talking about! Have it already and do like it, but want a second option.

  • they're fairly stretchy. I'm between small and medium in most brands.
got some small bibs from someone here and thought initially I should've gone medium, but they've been fine
(I'd probably still go medium next time, or at least see if I could try for size)

  • I would agree on bibs - i'm medium in Rapha and medium in Albion bibs, Albion seem a little more stretchy, and I also find the chamois far more comfortable.

  • Thanks @Chopsicle and others. It's a generous returns offer, have placed a like for like other brands order (small/small), weary of the fashion for long legs.

As feedback, I think it'd be handy, where possible, if the model information matched the size chart.
    e.g.

Studio Model: Height: 186cm, chest: 93cm, inner leg: 87cm Wears size: Small

Isn't as useful when the size chart is chest/waist/hips.

  • Did the 12 Hours of May emails go out to submit a ride? I haven’t received anything and this is the first year I’ve managed to get out for that long so I’d like a patch but I haven’t had an email or anything!

Also I have a pair of shorts that I’ve had for less than a year and the pad is already separating from its coloured top layer. Always washed gentle at 30, is there something else I should be doing?

  • Are others having the same issue as me with the logo on their shorts quite quickly?

  • Tbh I've kind of interpreted the dissolving Albion logo to be a feature rather than a bug. But haven't had it happen especially quickly. Washed on 30C inside out?

  • Lost my burner 10km into a 250km ride today. Devastated. Before I buy a replacement does anyone have one they’re not using they’d be keen to move on?

  • If anyone has an Ultralight Insulated Jacket in XS they are looking to sell please send me a PM
Preferably black or another dark colour
The zip on my current jacket has broken so looking for something to replace it!

  • Do people rate the ultralight insulated jacket? Kind of need a new gilet/warmth type thing at this looks like it would fit the bill. Packs down reasonably small from what I can see?

  • massively rate it, i use it all the time. I can squish it into a 1L dry bag and it easily goes in that tiny apidura framepack

  • Ok great, thanks both

Free repairs on any brand cyclewear, focussed on scrapes and tears/quick repair (ie no zips), one-per-person. To manages (potential!) numbers, we're going to trial opening repair slots every 30mins, so please bear with us. We'll also have repair patches to take away, or just swingby to say hi :)

@M4xime get in touch direct with Albion customer service, and we can fix (or drop into Coal Drops at weekend?)

  • Oh! If visiting, bring a lock, and be vigilant and aware of security. Definitely targeted/opportunist bike thefts last year :(

  • Massive shout out for the Albion Merino tee. Wore it everyday for a week, doesn't smell or feel sticky or anything, feels exactly the same as when it's clean on.

It's earned a wash now though.

  • How do you find the fit? Just wondering if I should buy the same size as I do in their jerseys.

  • I'm 6ft, 38" chest, 33" waist and find the Medium a nice fit. Not tight, not loose. Maybe a touch long, but it is merino, and I'm more legs than body.

  • Great thank you - very helpful.
