OG Cinelli Vigorelli

Thinking of parting ways with my 2008 Vigorelli. Size 54c. As you can see from the pictures this bike has been RIDEN for the past 16 years, it's not garage princess so it does show signs of its age. Thomson Stem, Nitto bars, Fizik saddle, Sram omnium cranks, Mavic Ellipse rear, Miche Front, Zipp seatpost, Salsa Seatpost clamp, almost new schwalbe tires. Could 100% do with a new chain, or at least a deep clean, for those that are london based its been kept in an on the road bike hut, so is exposed to the cold hence the rust on the chain. The non drive side crank had lots of foot strap rub so at one point i started to buff out the paint, but never finished it. Quick spray paint job will fix this if you care. Cant remember the last time I saw one of these up for sale. Any questions just ask.

I'm going to split this now as I was dreaming on the price. I'll clean it up properly and repost when i get round to it. Thanks everyone for you advice on the sale.

Pricing is a bit aspirational. It's a nice bike but to misquote Bjorg Lillelien "your bikes taken a hell of a beating". There just isn't the interest/demand anymore for that money. GLWS though and it is good to see it is still getting used

nice set-up. but yes you won't get that money for it.

If you would split, maybe 200/250 ? for frameset, 100£ maybe for omniums in this condition, something for the rear wheel 40/50£? (it seems dinged), a little something for the front wheel (as it is miche), and maybe 100£ overall for the rest of the kit.

In my experience, i could be wrong. you could turn the omniums to silver and make it quite attractive though, new chain, bars are swag.

Any dents?
Would make a nice clean up project but you'd probably be looking at half of what you're after. If you checked and confirmed the condition of the bearings then spent £20 on a new chain, bar plugs and some muc-off to clean this up then £600ish is doable. Might be hard for potential buyer to un see the current condition though!

Genuinely trying to help. It's a cool bike and i reckon 2024 is the year of middle aged fixed gear crisis so someone out there will want it! GLWS.

Thanks jono, appreciate the reply. Theres no dents in the frame, good shout on the bearings, the back wheel is not great. But I think your right though, i'm going to clean this up and maybe split the parts instead.

Very cool bike. I sold mine a few years ago for about £700 I think, in slightly better cosmetic condition with some cheap carbon wheels.
