  • I love inside number 9. My favourite is still the silent cat burglar episode

We watched the first two of the new series as people seemed to be saying it was back on form . Meh, nah... not for me it wasn't. Like a really budget Black Mirror 😬

  • I thought ep1 was meh, but liked ep2 a lot.

  • Yes ep3 was very good. Excellent ending.

It feels to me that they've found an old folder of ideas from the earlier seasons.

  • Really loving Ripley.

Watched Atlas yesterday, it’s pretty terrible (reminded my of Tron for some reason, but not in a good way), but it’s also strangely compelling and enjoyable.

  • Watched Atlas yesterday

I couldn’t watch this. Just really bad from the outset. So hokey and not a single original idea in the whole 45 mins or so I managed.

  • Tokyo Vice S2. Pretty great, loved the lighting and that it actually had an ending

  • Eric on Netflix is very good. Last episode tonight

I really enjoyed Sugar until the end. Completely unnecessary

  • We just finished Yellow Stone, 1883 and 1923 - in that order.

    Yellow Stone is superb.

    1883 not so much.

1923 is a total let down, terrible script, terrible acting. I’m guessing a different creative team dreamed it up. Please don’t let them do anything else!

  • Scavengers Reign on Netflix

Really enjoying this. Dreamlike and odd. Not afraid to let the audience wtf indefinitely.

  • Eric was great, so much darker than the trailer lets on.

  • I'm rewatching Tokyo Vice S1 as prep for S2. It's so well cast. A privilege to see so many fantastic Japanese actors. But Rachel is a weakness. No screen presence at all. Wiki says she was a last minute replacement for another actor.

  • Inside Number 9 definitely went out with a whimper which was a shame given the start to the series.

  • The gentlemen, a bit like a Guy Ritchey compilation of his best bits, doesn't really work but it is vaguely entertaining.

Really Enjoying Dark Matter on Apple TV.

  • a bit like a Guy Ritchey compilation

A bit? I watched the first episode by mistake and was fairly sure it written by an AI fed only his oeuvre.

  • The Boys is out tonight.

  • Really Enjoying Dark Matter on Apple TV.

I'm quite liking it but there at least one sci-fi goof per episode that takes me out of it. Like how did they get a GPS signal in a box that's whole purpose is to be completely cut off from absolutely everything?

  • Quite enjoying Acolyte. Probably the best Star Wars Disney show behind Andor.

  • Acolyte is really good we’re 3 episodes in.

    Also Queenie! So good

  • The Boys is out tonight.

Just downloaded the first 3 episodes. Binge watching on the weekend.

    Along with 'The Acolyte'

  • The Boys is out tonight.

    – Thin lizzy workshopping titles.

  • Genuinely thought Mother's Milk was a different actor.

  • I googled it too, he looks completely different. even knowing it's just because he lost weight and trimmed the beard it's so confusing to see him in the scenes.

  • I'm not up on the canon, but it felt like he was meant to look pumped af. So I'm not sure if the trimmed down version works...

.... Or maybe it fits with his new bureaucrat role 🤷

    Either way it's really jarring.

  • his t-shirt game is still on point though.

  • Currently watching “The Hour” on Netflix. Nice slow meander in the 1930s spy drama 👍🏼
