Plus one set in black in the 27 if anyone is interested . Both sets use inner tubes

  • Almost makes me want to break out the Ambrosio Nemesis’, sob! (Appreciate these aren’t tubs, but you know what I
    mean..)

  • No worries, thanks for looking!

  • Foolishly I have a pair of corsa 32s in non tubeless I don’t need and can’t return. Brand new in a box. Tan wall.
I’d like to sell them. Before I go to listing them properly. Does anyone want them?

  • I want some non touring tyres for my touring bike. The Marathons on there are like anchors and I'd like to put some more gravelly types on. 35-38mm. Is the answer Terrenos?

  • I have a serious problem because now I want both sets!

  • These might work for @ltc 's conquest to build a comfy fixed bike.

  • Or GravelKings.

The new models are pretty good, to the point I'm leaving mine on for my tour rather than going back to my Sawtooths. Time will tell if this was sensible...

  • Thanks but I'm already on 32s and looking to go bigger! I also really like Ramparts so would like to stick with those.

  • Haha, posting before coffee, that was supposed to be for @ojwithbits !

  • Specialized Pathfinder? I've got a set of 38s that came with the Crux. They're meant to be pretty quick, no? I've not ridden them myself so can't confirm.

  • Continental Grand Prix Urban - they are slick, but roll equally well on tarmac and gravel.

  • all-round tubeless tyres for cx season? 700x33?

  • I think the Vittoria Wets are more than capable of handling the majority of conditions you’ll get in the UK.

They are surprisingly good in dry conditions and can handle everything up to, but not including, deep, thick mud.

  • Thanks Andy.

  • Sawtooths, Goodyear Connectors, Contact Urbans, Pasela PTs

  • Cheers for the suggestions all I'm off to procrastinate.👌

  • According to bicyclerollingresistance.com the Connectors are only good for restistance training.
Contact Urbans are my favourite - GP Urbans if money was no object.

  • I've got the Connectors (only because they were going cheap at Ribble, they are fiercely expensive) on my Gravel bike.

They aren't half as bad as that review would have you believe. They work well on gravel and even wet and muddy stuff, granted I wouldn't want to ride them on the road exclusively but they don't feel any draggier than anything else I've used.

I like the look of the Urbans with the coffee sidewalls for my Galaxy as I don't want Gravel tyres per se and I don't want Marathons. Its the halfway house.

I did like the look of the Terreno Zeros but once you start reading reviews it puts you off off all the things.

  • My brother-in-law and I also use them Connectors and have no complaints. To me at least they're a really decent mixed-surface halfway house - I have them on my touring Bridge Club.

  • pls point me in the right direction for a pair of tubeless road tyres as nice as corsas in 30mm and tanwall at a very reasonable price pls.

  • This doesn't exist if you want to pay <£40 a tyre

  • yeah that is what i thought....
what's the best deal on corsa toobless 30c?

  • Connectors are only good for restistance training.

Would make a good winter tyre - better pnc resistance than most and better wet grip than most.

Show of hands - how many people in this thread are actually 'racing' gravel?
