£130 by Dean at Yorkshire Sole. Which I think is the going rate. He did a fantastic job and recommended adding a rubber(?) sole in between the boot and the new vibram sole as they’re quite a lot thinner than the white soles they come with. Was very glad for the advice. And the service was seriously top notch.
Considering I’ve had the boots for over 10 years, was quite happy to get them altered to make them more wearable for me (the white soles + wet Yorkshire stone pavements or wet grass are a death trap!). And I think it’s smartened them up a bit as well (which is handy, as they’re my “smart” shoes).
Looks like a cracking job, was it pricey?
