I've got a bunch of these, they're great although initially a bit of a financial hit.

I don't stack them however, have them sitting on wood shelves as it makes accessibility easier.

You can delete everything after and including the ‘?’.

Sure, but that was not necessary previously.

Catching up on the Lizzy Banks story* and I’m wondering if anyone can save me searching what the trigger amount of caffeine is for failing a doping test.
*WADA appealing that she hasn’t been banned for trace amounts (70 nanograms) of a diuretic caused by cross contamination

Legit!

Interesting. Thank you!
Any other time I would have searched, but I was laid awake at 0430 and listening to a cycling podcast.
Fucking knackered.

When I moved into my house it had been all wired up for a tv aerial with aerial points in each room and one of these under the stairs linking it all to the aerial wiring in the loft:
There wasn't an aerial installed but I traced the wiring up to the loft using one of these and connected an aerial.
It doesn't work. The aerial does work (I put a wire down the chimney breast and connected it to my tv and it works fine) so it must be somewhere in the wiring which has a fair few joins (but still shows continuity from the downstairs aerial point to the wiring in the loft).
Any suggestions for tracking down where the issue arises that doesn't involve me wiring up a freeview box and screen at each join to see where it stops working? Cheers

Been a long time since I've done anything with coax. Used to run a coax computer network and did lots of 450 and 800 mhz 2-way radio stuff BITD.
Those splitters are not great, especially without terminal caps for the ones not in use. When we used them (long coax runs for 800mhz trunk radios) we needed powered signal boosters to make them functional. This maybe what is happening here - simple signal deterioration.
Maybe cheaper to replace and see what happens?

I’m swapping to a Nokia 800 Tough from my iPhone.
I was planning on just putting my simcard in the new phone, and leaving my iPhone as is, with the hope of still using it as a kind of mini tablet by tethering to the Nokia when I need it.Will this work, or will my iPhone not work without a sim card?
-
• #122313
Can't you just take out the sim and tell us?

Cheers. I remember aerial boosters being all the rage when I was younger but never really knew whether they actually worked. Maybe something like this would do better

Does anyone know the format of a Metropolitan Police Crime Reference number? A quick search fails to show anything official.

Well, that’s the plan when it arrives, but if there’s anything I can do to iron out the swap beforehand that might be a headache, I’d like to do that first. Particularly on the Apple side/iMessage stuff. It always strikes me that there’s stuff that goes funny when departing from apple products.

Thanks.
Our neighbourhood WhatsApp group is up in arms about an alleged knifing incident at the end of the road yesterday. It was first reported on Facebook and it absolutely stinks of being fake to me - user with no friends, never posted before, cites a crime reference number that doesn't look right - so I'm digging a bit further.

Now that prime wheels are gone, where can I get a similar wheelset for cheap?
I've got a pair of kinlin xr200s that I want to move on and get in something slightly wider.
Used/New I don't care, but cost is low and they're for cx/rad dadding. -

How you guys organize your bike parts / parts bin? Is there some sort of system you use? What would be good boxes to use? My stuff is all mixed together in cardboard boxes and its a mess.
RAACO storage has saved my santiy, along with some plastic bins..
