    What counts as a reputable source in this context though?

    The NHS article might focus in the downsides of use and lack of evidence in common methods employed for reducing side effects, but I don't get the sense that kids are reading that.

  • Yeah, there is huge risks of conformation bias going on when people are out there looking for information on steroids. A lot of it is just the slick, modern day social media version of asking the biggest guy at the gym. Except 'the biggest guy ' is now an influencer who is slick and incentivised keep the ball rolling as there is big money in it.

    Proper medical sites will rarely say 'one 4 week cycle will build a mass that you will retain some of throughout your life and be unlikely to have long term adverse effects' even if it is true. *I don't know if this is true.
