  • if its a small combo, a clothes horse over the amp and mic stand, then drape a heavy blanket or something over the top. Blackout curtains are great for this. It may remove too much room tone for you though.

    Alternatively, try to remove as many perpendicular hard surfaces as you can. Angle the amp, hang stuff on the walls (big canvas frames work pretty well so it could be a great opportunity for some decadent interior design)

  • That's a great shout. I'm mostly worried about acoustic instruments tbh - guitar, vocals - but those tips will work really well. I never thought a clothes horse could be so useful, but it makes total sense!
