Yeah this is the best advice, you can set up alerts on mywindsock and it'll give you a heads up of the ideal conditions.
That does sound like a plan. Although it’s a loop there is a section around a mile or so that all ways has a head wind.
Then that headwind section is where you need to focus more of your energy on, similarly with going up any hills on the loop.
Yeah just do it on a day with no wind?!
