does anyone have real world experience of strada bianca non-tubeless? looking for all year round riding plus some accidental gravel excursions. 33 or 36mm.
I tried them in 30s a few years ago. Boutique, pretty, non vulcanised old school tyres, i didn't find them especially robust. Before GP5Ks were invented, they were the worst tyres to fit. Had to warm them on the radiator.
Yep, I have some 30s on my winter/commuter bike.
Plus side: fast, comfy and look great. Minus side: cut up very easily and horrible to fit first time. I'll probably switch back to Corsa Control when the time comes.
All that has been already said above. Big cut on one on the first ride.
However, I did ride the length of the Pyrenees on them, offroad, with tubes, and only had very few punctures (motly pinch flats). Ahh, 2019, when 36mm were offroad tyres.
