Dr Israetel is great. He is really blunt about steroids and has a few videos about them. He says yeah I used them but now I’m paying the price.
Back in Arnold’s era nobody thought they were unsafe. Everyone thought about them the way people use pre workout now.
Two guys I worked with in the 90s were juiced and it ruined their health. We had a guy die two years ago from side effects. He went nuts and was certain everyone was watching him.
Maybe there will be massive health problems down the road with so many people using steroids.

I think one of the other things that makes them more accessible to people now is the plethora of information about them out there. YouTube, forums, etc, telling you what to take and what other stuff to do, when to get your bloods done, what to look out for etc. Back in the day if you hopped on you just asked the big guy at the gym what to do and did that, so it's no surprise a lot of people are suffering from the consequences of the compounds they took when they were doing it under not the greatest advice.
Interesting/shocking read in the Guardian about the prevalence of steroids in the yoof of today. I try to use social media with a sceptical mind but the constant bombardment of jacked up twenty-somethings is relentless. Luckily the expectations of a middle age man are slightly more realistic!
