  • For the record, because I happen to be using this data right now for work, according to the 2021 Census data, 15.42% of the population i Oldham self identify as living in a household where English is not the primary language.

    National average is 10.73%.

    Adjusting for skewness, Oldham less than a single standard deviation from the norm. Not really an outlier.

    Kensington and Chelsea is at 42.11%. In fact
    London Boroughs represent most of the top 25.

  • I think there's a lot of different languages there, certainly there's a lot of French people in South Ken at least - the Lycee is there.

  • The point is - the right kind of immigrants: white and moneyed.
